Podiatric Medical School is similar to conventional medical school and as a matter of fact various podiatry training programs lie inside these schools. After obtaining a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or post degree residency for yet another one to three years.

At the completion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received extensive healthcare instruction with a focus on conditions involving the ankles and feet. Our Doctors are educated to handle complications varying from regular ailments like ingrown and fungal toenails, to those which are more obscure like clubfoot, bunions, or reconstructive surgery of the foot.
