Our podiatrists put in an average of 10 years in education, the first 4 years in undergraduate studies to obtain a Bachelors Degree, and the second four years in Medical School to obtain a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in fact several podiatry programs lie inside these institutions. After getting a Podiatric Medial Degree, Podiatrists at the Foot Institute perform a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 - 3 years.

Upon the completion of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have acquired encompassing medical instruction with an emphasis on problems concerning the feet and ankles.
