They devote approximately a decade in education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to acquire a Bachelors Degree, and the following four years in Medical School to receive a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School corresponds to typical medical school and in point of fact various podiatry programs are contained inside these institutions. After receiving a Podiatric Medial Degree, Physicians at the Foot Institute undertake a hospital "internship" or residency for another 1 to 3 years.

At the conclusion of the internship or residency, our Podiatrists have received thorough medical instruction with an emphasis on problems involving the feet and ankles.
